Sertraline is an antidepressant in the SSRI class. Along with being useful for depression, it is also effective in the treatment of OCD, panic disorder, anxiety and other conditions. USAGE

Try to take the medicine either in morning or evening. Do not take the medicine with grapefruit juice otherwise it has side effects like vomiting, drowsiness etc. It is better to take the medicine at the same intervals of time to achieve better results.

DOSAGE

Try to take the prescription dose by your doctor. Do not overdose the medicine otherwise overdose cause severe symptoms. Start with the small dose with a consultation of the doctor. Effect of the medicine is often visible after the first week of taking the medicine and its effect properly notifiable in 3 to 8 weeks. Try not to skip the medicine.

PRECAUTIONS

It is a prescription only medicine. So do not take the medicine without consulting or prescribed by your doctor. Do not use the medicine in children below age 18.
