Paracetamol tablet belongs to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) class of medicines. It is one of the most common medicines consumed during a normal fever and to relieve mild to moderate pain. It is called an analgesic agent because it’s the ability to reduce fever and pain. The main ingredient in the medicine is paracetamol 650mg. This medication selectively inhibits enzyme function in the brain which allows it to treat pain and fever. It activates certain receptors in the brain that inhibit pain signals. It works by chemically blocking pain receptor signals in the body. It is generally prescribed during headache, fever and pain. It comes as tablets, syrup and drops.

PRECAUTIONS

• Store it at room temperature and keep the medicine away from heat and moisture.
• Try not to skip or double the dose. Overdose can have adverse effects on your health.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do tell your doctor beforehand.
• If you are suffering from liver disease or diabetes, do not take the medicine until and unless your doctor advised that.
• Also if you are allergic to paracetamol or any other inactive expedients, do not take the medicine without doctors consultation.
